Can you run a Chinese Diesel heater for Free ? 8 Kw Vevor Diesel Heater vs Xbox 360 power supply
Vevor sent me this 8Kw diesel heater to review and it really does what it says on the tin. It holds 5 litres / 1 gal of Diesel or Kerosene and can run for hours on this. Flat out it makes 8kw / 27Kbtu and burns about 0.6 litres per hour.
I think this little heater is great value and very easy to maintain given how few parts there are in it. A great test for someone reviewing a product is would they spend their own money on it. i have already bpught one as well for another project.
Cheers Gerry

Make a Budget Oil Tank

Budget friendly Heating Oil tank. Oil prices are through the roof right now. It is a lot easier on the wallet to fill one of these tanks than spend €1300 on a 1000 llitre fill of home heating oil. This tank will hold 150 litres of Kerosene or Diesel. Cheers Gerry Fittings used 1/2 inch tank connector. 1/2 inch by 10 mm reducer. 1/2 inch threaded lever valve Plastic Oil drum

Hi Gerry , what did you use to make the valve on the oil drum?
Hi Gerry, being a chemist with masteral degree, its my resposibilty to inform you and your viewers thst your process produce white to grey smoke called ACROLEIN. This is a very dangerour cancer causing chemical that might endanger you and your viewrs family. Kindly google this chemical and pls retract info like this from the general public. Be also responsuble before you encourage others to do your reco. Pls dont be offended as I know you havehelpful objectives.
Whats the smoke like comming out of the stack
Hi gerry I have a couple questions for you on waste oil burners wondering if you can help?
I watched this video for the 1st time about 3 years ago. I had never done any kind of work on my car but decided to replace my rear rotors, calipers and pads myself by watching RUclips videos. This was one of those videos! This little "life hack" has stuck with me as I've apparently become an amateur mechanic since that brake job. 😂 I just came across this video again and wanted to say thank u! Definitely genius!
Make sure reservoir cap is of
amazing clever
Sin ventilador !!! El mejor modelo de aceite!!!
Where can I get one
Hi Gerry, those three years have passed very quickly, and now the same problem as before, no burner activity, just the circulation pump. The problem was the two thermostats on the top of the boiler that set the normal operating temperature (60-70C) of the water and the "limit" setting (90C) to prevent boiling. Cats have jumped on the cable to the thermostats and disconnected the thermostat! The Riello burner is still going perfectly after 20+ years of service. I reviewed all your videos to get up to speed before working on it - thanks!
I use a syringe with a clear tube attached to where the needle would go. Like this, you keep the fluid in the syringe, no need to hold a bottle to catch the fluid. 😉
hi would this method work if I change my caliper I'm only changing the rear caliper that's two of them I just want to know do I bleed the whole car or just the one I'm changing please can someone help me that be great
I used the same set up with hydrolock a few years back .
Super dobro 😊
I love how every person on here talking about how putting bad stuff in air, but yet they drive cars that doing same, buy products made with oil.
👋
I've been working on cars 30 years I could hug him I appreciate it boss thank you from Houston Texas
Oil?
The thinner hose will still work alone if you take a small nick at the 12 and 6 oh clock sides on the end with a penknife and leave it sat in boiling water for 30 seconds or so, will soften it up enough to fit over the brake bleed nipple, might be of use to someone here. Great idea btw jerry i never thought of this i will try it on my next caliper change. Great content
You are the king of oil stoves. Watched all of your video
hello, are you able to shed any light on this machine, we just brought it and seem to have a very loose belt which i believe should be taught, i believe it is for the hight of cutting blade, under compressed air i believe, hopefully you can help and i can send or show video off issue if you can thanks
The bit nobody ever shows, is…….somehow there is some kind of small fitting that connects to the gate valve outlet, that is inside the T piece. I’m guessing this centres the flow an£ avoids the oil just dripping on the inside walls of the sight T. Is this just bonded into the bottom of the gate valve outlet?
4 years ago, your videos helped me sort out my ancient oil burner (and now runs quieter and more efficient) and now you've been invaluable for my tired old Honda Mower. I have now replaced this damned timing belt about 4 times over 3 years, but with spurious ones. Am going to buy a genuine belt this time and hope it lasts at least a couple of years. I know 2 of the previous breakages were due to sticks etc on the lawn, but why it failed yesterday I have no idea.
Just get someone to push the bleeding brake pedal for you. Less change of bubbles going upstream. Silliness putting peoples lives at risk to avoid asking for help. Sad really…
Come back Jerry!
Thanks Gerry, a very clear and informative video!
Good video Ger educational and entertaining kind regards Sean
Wonder if it could be scaled down for a camp stove
im wondering if the bubbles happened after the caliper?
Gerry I need to feel you inside it me
Hi Gerry can I ask a quick question. So our RDB has a leaky pump. When the engineer fits a new one he adjusts the pump to 7bar. As soon as he set the new pump to 7bar it leaks from the adjuster?? He has tried 3 new pumps. Riello aren’t much help?? Any ideas?? It’s a Grant 50/70 unit about 22 years old. It functions very well. Many Thanks
How much holes must there be and how much of the
Vacuum Bleeding isn't the best way .. better to use a pressurised product
Nada que ver con el combustible fósil.
I'll try it.
Can my Makita XRM 07 Bluetooth work House current without a Battery ?
Good technique thanks
If you remove the bleeder screw and fill the threads with grease then reinstall it works much much better
Thank Christ someone put this video up
Brilliant presentation mate, typical Irish humour 😂 gonna tackle mine now 👍
Accidentally came up with this as a teen Forgot about it, so I came up with a way to do it with a check valve as an adult
Knock knock...
Great advice about using the side of the drill bit to make a start. My drill was sliding all over the tile. I was so worried about the holes not staying aligned or just damaging the tile in general. But using the side of the diamond drill bit. It dug in straight away. Just go slow and steady
Missleading. Was left with the impression that the cans were all I needed. Still need the stove
Great workmanship, thank you for the video
Hahaha I was looking to replace the mirror on my 2009 because a truck broke mine too. It looks exactly the same!
Now that's using your head for something besides a hat rack! Great idea! Thank you, Gerry! Never underestimate the ingenuity of the Irish!
Your new deckshell is from older mower and doesn't have 3 holes around the blade fans..
